The Safety, Health and care to the ecology are resources that should be available within an organization which should not be understood simply as the absence of danger and not pollute the environment, but as a complete state of physical, allowing mental and social development of human beings.

Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of their jobs. The overall health of the workers and their protection, is a priority for IPS - our five basic principles are:


  • Safety, health and environmental protection workers is first.
  • No job is too urgent that it cannot be safely.
  • Safety is First, IPS is convinced that the of its employees safety is first.
  • Making insurance work, caring for the environment.

The importance of these principles is a primary objective, which is to preserve the life and physical and mental integrity of the worker by providing a safe work environment, healthy, productive and respectful of the environment in which the work develops, nurturing while productivity and business competitiveness.

To achieve this goal it is necessary to implement a system that serves to prevent accidents not only at work but in all the activities at home.

A management system combines policies, resources, personnel and procedures whose components interact in an organized manner to ensure the performance of a given task and achieve or maintain a specific result. This management system includes the following points:

  • Occupational health
  • Analysis and dissemination of good practices and incidents
  • Information Management

  • Key Performance Indicators

  • Emergency response plans

Another tool with which we are also safety inspections consisting discover problems and assess risks before accidents. With these routine inspections can identify:

  • Potential Problems
  • Equipment deficiencies
  • Workers inappropriate actions
  • Defects caused by changes in processes or materials
  • Deficiencies of corrective actions
  • Self-assessment of Management
  • Management commitment

By its nature, the operations in the oil industry are likely to pose security risks and health workers, is why, given these risks - IPS is committed to protect the safety of its employees and its facilities, as well as the health of all those involved directly or indirectly in operations such as workers, employees, contractors, visitors and nearby communities.
